The Islanders are tied for allowing the fewest goals in the NHL and are 5th in GA/GP. Their defense is fine, they need to score more. Doesn't really have any bearing on the validity of what Ek says, but the last place they're going to add is on the blueline.

It is even possible that BOTH players could be moved together...more on this is in a bit...

Wrong. Pageau is exactly what we need our defense is a strength not a weakness.

It was the same about the Isles needing a goalie when Cappy and Doug were the coach. It was the lousy system that made the goalies look bad. Isles need offense. The Canes series proved it.
